The corps de logis at the Neue Burg boasts no fewer than three world-ranking collections:

Weltmuseum Wien
With its comprehensive collections of ethnographic exhibits, historical photographs and books on non-European cultures the Weltmuseum Wien [formerly Museum of Ethnology] is one of the world’s leading ethnological museums.

Collection of Historic Musical Instruments
The Collection of Historic Musical Instruments features the world’s most significant inventory of Renaissance and Baroque instruments. It also safeguards, cares for, and showcases numerous instruments that were once played by famous musicians and composers.

Imperial Armoury
The Vienna Collection is the best documented collection of courtly suits of armour and weapons in the western world. The exhibits themselves were specially commissioned for military campaigns, imperial diets, tributes, coronations, engagements, weddings, and christenings.
