The Rise and Reign of Dinosaurs

The Mesozoic or Earth's Middle Ages summarises the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous sections. The Mesozoic Era began 252 million years ago and ended 65 million years ago. It is also known as the age of dinosaurs. The dinosaurs on land and those dinosaurs that conquered the water and the air. The latter, by the way, were not directly related to the land dinosaurs, but to the larger family, the reptiles. In the shadow of the dinosaurs, the first mammals and a great variety of other species evolved.
