The dalmatic

The dalmatic, worn by the deacon, is decorated with abstract embroidery. Like the cope, the white silk is adorned with blue silk rosettes, metal yarn and appliqué. As with all the worn pieces, the dalmatic is edged in a blue-gold border with tendril effect.
