Rudolf’s portrait
The Archduke’s hat can be seen on a famous portrait of Rudolf, which after a long stint over his tomb at St. Stephen’s is now on display in the cathedral museum. The Austrian version has a pointed coronet and 2 intersecting hoops mounted on to it. This original version hasn’t survived, if indeed it ever existed at all.
