The fragment
Shota Rustaveli's "The Knight in the Panther's Skin" from the 12th centruy is considered to be Georgia's national epic poem. The Samtskhe-Javakheti Naional Museum contains the oldest surviving fragment of a copy that was most probably made in the 16th century.
