Hotel Kala
The Family Hotel Vardzia Kala is located in town of Aspindza near the main road. The hotel overlooks the Mtkvari gorge and is a quite and cheap place to stay, if you want to visit some of the touristic highlights of the region: some 100 meters away is the 9th century church of Khvilishi, Khertvisi Fortress is 8 kilometers to the south and the famous Vardzia Cave Monastery is also only half an hour by car. The town of Aspindza offers quite some places to stay and eat, Restaurant Kokhta is 100 meters from the hotel, restaurant "Chico" is 900 meters away.
