If you make it to the top of Atskuri castle, you will be rewarded with spectacular views of the surrounding landscape!
But please note:
The way up to Atksuri Castle is not only extremely steep, but also involves real climbing. At the foot of the mountain there are some very steep steps that lead through a narrow tunnel and then end after a few meters. And that's the easy part. Then you stand in front of a rock face and the real climbing begins, which we only recommend for really fit people who have a head for heights and who also have the appropriate footwear. Nothing for families with children and older people.
